Consumer Terms
1. Seller identity and transaction information:
Before payment, the checkout should identify the legal seller and show the seller’s contact details, product description, price, applicable taxes, production or delivery estimate, delivery charges, payment method, order-change process, returns information and other material transaction terms. If DANOU PTY LIMITED is the seller, that should be stated plainly. If another label or retailer is the seller, its legal identity and customer-care route should be shown instead.
2. Order status and acceptance:
Products may be in stock, made to order or still subject to development or approval. The applicable product page should state the status. An order may require payment, information, measurement or approval before production can begin. If an order cannot be accepted, the customer should be told and any payment handled according to the
applicable terms and law.
3. Product information and measurements:
Product descriptions, available customisation, measurements, care information and material details should reflect the actual product. Size charts and measurement guidance assist with ordering but do not guarantee a particular personal fit preference. A measurement-related issue does not remove remedies for a manufacturing fault, inaccurate description or service that failed to use due care and skill.
4. Production and delivery estimates:
Production and delivery estimates vary by product, destination, materials, approvals and production capacity. A material change to an accepted order should be explained by the legal seller together with the available options. A general website estimate is not a universal promise for every order.
5. Consumer guarantees:
Products and services are supplied with the consumer guarantees required by the Australian Consumer Law where it applies. Those guarantees cannot be removed by calling an item “final sale”, “custom”, “made-to-order” or “no refunds”. The available remedy depends on the facts and whether the problem is major or minor.
6. Change of mind:
Any change-of-mind policy is separate from statutory consumer guarantees. A properly described made-to-order product may have limited change-of-mind options if that is disclosed before payment, but that limitation does not remove rights where the product is faulty, unsafe, materially not as described, unfit for a disclosed purpose or otherwise covered by a non-excludable guarantee.
7. International customers:
Where a customer is protected by mandatory local rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, those rights apply to the extent required. Destination-specific notices, withdrawal rights, tax disclosures or complaint routes should be added before orders are accepted where local law requires them.
8. Contacting the seller:
If there is a problem, contact DAKUTX promptly with the order number, relevant photographs and the remedy you are seeking. DAKUTX will assess the facts and explain the next step. Nothing in this process limits a right that cannot legally be excluded.
